As a professional writer, designer, and producer in the commercial arts and film industry, the insight about this magical place revealed itself while sitting on a porch one warm evening, years ago. With all the hurdles and obstacles that occupy ones life, being 'present' to life's journey seems to be so difficult. Daily distractions demanding attention, or reactions, drain the spirit. The porch recharges the soul, allows peace, introspection, and the perspective of many different points of view. Views that, for this scribbler, lead to compassion, understanding, and grace.
